I'm pretty excited about this game. it's a traditional board game not unlike Taanhauser but with full units etc. I'm holding off until the unpainted hundred dollar version comes out, at which time I'll probably start painting up the Axis. There's also a bunch of expansion kits planned for the game as it supports army building. Anybody else looking at this?

Well I decided to jump in with both feet when I found this game on Miniature Market for like 60 bucks. Ordered two copies so I can paint a Yank army that can stand in for Secrets of the Third Reich as well!

I was considering picking up a copy this week. My only concern is the quality of the models. Are they AT-43 quality or or are they better? I'm not a big fan of the way PVC holds detail and if I'm gonna get this, I'm gonna wanna paint it. It has Lazer Nazis after all. So, how are the details? Is there a lot of flash? Are the rubbery? I've seen some photos that remind me of AT-43 in quality and I'm not sure I likes that.

Thye're pretty rubbery (I'm disassembling them to repaint them). I'll post up some photos tonight of the bits and pieces so people can see.
Detail-wise they're pretty neat and clean. Just a primer coat on top, so nothing is globbed over. The Walkers are the nicest bit. They're hard plastic and VERY detailed.
