Just got a demo of this from a friend and I have to say it's a solid little game. Anyone else tried it out?

yeah my board game night crew has been playing it for a bit. I love the mechanics and the minis are nice too. I have not mastered the tactics yet... I usually end up being that pilot that screams "IVE BEEN HI*** BOOOM!**

It looks like it's doing pretty well. The Slave 1 and Millenium Falcon expansions seem to be everywhere.
What kind of model count does the game use? Most dogfighting games tend to be fairly small...

the base game comes with only three models.... a marketing scheme I suppose.. but its a good start to get into the game. But having about 4-6 people play this game really makes it a winner for me.. I love the bigger dog fights rather than the small skirmishes personally. But you will need more miniatures to make this happen obviously... which can get expensive. My friends in my board game group have all bought there own (single miniature expansion ) ship to spread out the cost amongst the group and it has worked well in that way. I love playing with my own personal X-wing.. tons of fun.

That's pretty cool. I've seen some kickstarters for 'Deathstar' style boards to play the game on as well. Looks pretty neat!
