Hi everyone. I joined this forum recently with the main intent of getting some local/fellow Memphians and other Mid Southerners interested in playing one of my new ( new to me that is) favorite miniatures game...BLOOD BOWL.
many of you may know Blood Bowl as a strategy/fantasy football game that pits two players (coaches) in an all out brawl of mayhem and fun on a football field (or pitch to be exact ;D ) The game is made by GamesWorkshop and now lives on a cult following of sorts...
I have recently been bitten by the Blood Bowl bug and now having a good feel for the rules (free to download off of the GamesWorkshop website btw) I am ready to fight it out with some fellow gamers.
There are tournament and league rules that really make this game flourish... I know that there have been some Memphis Leagues in the past, and I was hoping to find one now a days... but have had no success.
Is there any one out there that would be interested in playing this game with me and some of my friends?? I have never run a league or tournament but would be willing to give it a shot if more people become interested.
let me know on this thread or contact me via email --- shydesign@me.com
thanks ;D ;D

I've got (in no particular order); - 2 Human Teams - Orcs and Goblins - Chaos - Amazons - Lizardmen And a bunch more unpainted teams. I've also got a few extra pitches and stuff. My one thing I'm short on is a lot of available free time (I travel a lot) and space to host games. If someone gets something going; feel free to post.

I too have multiple teams... humas orcs dwarves elf
as well as three pitches and a recently acquired dungeon bowl set. I hope to get some use out of these.

I've got unpainted Pro Elves, Wood Elves, Skaven and Goblins as well; but I prefer to play with painted figs.
Is that the old Dungeonbowl set, or the expansion that used Warhammer Quest tiles (and was compatible with LRB6?).
